How do I change my notification settings for Iris?

Iris uses push notifications to alert you about important new messages from the Iris Care Team, upcoming visit reminders, visit summaries and more. These allow us to communicate more directly with you, as you can tap into a notification and navigate to the direct location with the Iris app that needs your attention. 

We recommend that you turn on notifications from Iris when you create your account. If you missed this step or want to further customize your notifications from Iris, you can always do so in your device settings. 

 

Changing your notification settings

How you turn on, off, and customize notifications from Iris depends on what kind of mobile device you have: 

If you have an iOS device (iPhone, iPad):

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Notifications.
  3. Select Iris from the list of applications.
  4. Turn on or off notifications, or customize desired settings including alerts, banner style, and previews.

If you have an Android device:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Notifications.
  3. Find and select Iris from the list of applications.
  4. Select Notifications
    Note: 
    Android 12+ devices don’t require this step.
  5. Turn on or off notifications, or customize desired settings including how and when you’re notified.
